OUTSIDE IN is a film for six dancers, drawn from the CandoCo Dance Company. It is the first collaboration between American choreographer Victoria Marks and director Margaret Williams.
OUTSIDE IN is a witty and affectionate mix of trails, tracks, blue skies and hidden surprises. The film leaves a lasting impression of continual movement - a seamless stream of images, imprints and revelations.

OUTSIDE IN shows just what can be done in the complicated, and too often disastrous business of bringing dance and television together. It is funny, heartening, technically inventive and hugely entertaining... the sort of programme which may well appeal to people who normally take no interest in dance'
Chris Dunkley, Financial Times
'Completely unmissable - a stunner'
'The film is A Midsummer Night's Dream for the nineties. It has a magical, surreal quality to it that makes its spiritual celebration of human relationships all the more uplifting'
Dance Connection Magazine, Canada
'Effervescent, highly imaginative and plenty of fun'
'Margaret Williams' endlessly moving cinematic gaze counterpoints Victoria Marks' intensely focused and precise deployment of six dancers... the differences between dance and non-dance, choreography and cinematography begin to disappear'
Deborah Jowitt, Village Voice
