A hot summer day in the city park. Choreographers Pearl Jordan and Jeanefer Jean-Charles get together with African dancers Norman 'Rubba' Stephenson and Judith Palmer to explore the relationship between traditional African dance and Lindy Hop, creating in the process a new fusion of the two styles. Film Director Alison Murray celebrates the exuberance and excitement of these two joyful dance forms and composer Barak Schmool provides an original score. |
